A new Sunday tradition begins…

When we asked our members what they’d like to see more of, one message came through loud and clear: more opportunities to dance.

So we’re trying something new.

Introducing Matinée Milongas – a new Melbourne Social Tango event series that brings together social dancing, great music, and the relaxed atmosphere of a Sunday afternoon. This first event is a trial inspired directly by your feedback, and if the community enjoys it, we’d love to see it become a regular part of the MST calendar.

 

For our inaugural edition, we’re heading to Brunswick Aces in the heart of East Brunswick – a unique craft distillery and bar renowned for its award-winning gin, cocktails, wines, and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’d like to enjoy a beautifully crafted cocktail, a glass of wine, or simply relax with friends between tandas, it’s the perfect setting for an afternoon milonga.

And when the music finishes, the afternoon doesn’t have to end. Brunswick Aces is surrounded by some of Melbourne’s best cafés, bars and restaurants, making it easy to continue the conversation over dinner or explore everything East Brunswick has to offer with your tango friends.
